Create a clever and interesting plastic folding box design to be used as a sales aid

We use printed samples of our plastic boxes as sales aids, and we attach them, in poly bags, to our packaging magazine ads (see PDF attachment) to demonstrate of the aesthetic appeal and added value of clear plastic packaging, and as an example of our high-quality printing and converting capabilities.

We refer to these boxes as our “Visualize” cartons since this is the theme of our advertising campaign. We need is a creative, clever and interesting graphic designs for our cartons that compliment our Visualize advertising, theme, demonstrate the benefits of clear plastic cartons (as compared to paperboard cartons), show three-dimensionality, and demonstrates our high-quality printing capabilities. Please take a look at attachments to see “Visualize” carton designs that we’ve previously used that we believe satisfy these requirements. The carton die line (visualize.ai) is also attached. The “Water Box” design demonstrates the advantages of a see-through plastic carton. The “Finger Frame”, “Honey Bee” and “Pop Corn Girl” are clever and interesting graphic designs that show the three-dimensionality of a plastic package. We receive many compliments on how creative our “Visualize” carton designs are, and we need to more clever and interesting graphic designs. As a matter of fact, I hope that we can award multiple winners.

The best plastic box graphic designs are those that have areas of complete transparency, areas of complete opacity, and areas of translucent or see-through colors. It your not familiar with designing for a plastic substrate, white ink must be printed behind graphics that you want to appear opaque. We are also able to foil stamp our plastic cartons (small or large areas), and can apply very opaque silkscreen copy or line graphics that provides a raised or tactile effect. For example, most of the cartons the word “Visualize” on the front panel is printed silkscreen for extra appeal. We want every carton design to have the word “Visualize” positioned like a brand name would be positioned on a retail product, and we have backside and bottom copy that must appear on all graphic designs.
