We mail Kokomo’s ShopSmart magazine as a local community shopper publication that serves as a form of direct mail advertising. Based in North Central Indiana, it is designed to connect local businesses with potential customers in their local community by offering deals, savings, and ideas that encourage engagement and commerce. The magazine is fun to read for the entire family, featuring savings content that appeals to all ages. Most of our advertising clients are in the food, automotive, entertainment, or home services industries, providing a diverse range of options for readers. It typically includes advertisements, coupons, and special offers from these local businesses, aiming to drive foot traffic and sales for these advertisers. The magazine's goal is to provide value to both businesses and consumers by facilitating cost-effective marketing solutions and offering readers opportunities to save money on products and services in their area.

To create a new masthead/logo for ShopSmart Magazine and integrate it into a sample advertisement cover, please design a modern, clean, and easily recognizable masthead. The brand name "ShopSmart Magazine" should be prominently featured, using a bold and legible font that reflects the magazine's identity. However, it is important that the masthead is not so bold that it overshadows the front cover advertiser. Consider incorporating a shopping-related icon or symbol to enhance the design, but not necessary. The color scheme should align with the magazine's theme and appeal to the target audience of middle to upper income, mostly women by about 75% and 25% male, but can also take on new fresh colors as needed or to work with the advertisement that may be present that month. For the sample advertisement cover layout, include the new masthead/logo prominently at the top. The body of the cover should have space for the advertiser's product images and descriptions (please mock up a sample ad), as well as sections for promotional offers or discounts. Additionally, work in somewhere on the cover ShopSmart Magazine's contact information, the Facebook logo with the handle /ShopSmartKokomo, www.ShopSmartMagazine.com, and to advertise info, including a QR code and the phone number 765-212-3411. Ensure that all essential information from the current masthead/logo and advertisements is retained by referring to the attached samples for guidance on necessary content and layout structure.
