Description of the product
In vino felicitas. In wine there is happiness. There is also truth, as we have been reminded, and one of the truths in my life is to make wine. My goal is to craft unique lots that are not shy about expressing their heritage – the soil and climate in which they were grown, where that combination of great terroir and viticultural expertise merge.

We would like to update our label. It was designed 15 years ago and feels very dated. 1. The center deign on the front label needs to be larger and much more detailed. I love detailed embossing on labels. It would be nice for continuity to keep the theme of the fleur de lys the same but make it a lot more intricate. And it doesn’t need to be the large focal point. I think it would be interesting to see the fleur de lys integrated into the design but more subtly. The IN VINO FELICITAS can also be integrated into the design and doesn't have to be in a circle around the design. I have attached an example of an intricate embossed design to show the overall detail and emboss effects that I like. However, I don't want to copy their content. We may benefit from keeping the new design in a circle shape so that there is more brand recognition/fluidity. 2. I like the idea of trying a black background instead of a cream colored background. I think the gold foil will pop more and it will look classier. 3. I think it might be best to keep the font the same (ITC Zapf Chancery) and keep the positioning of the brand name, vintage, varietal and appellation. This would help a current customer recognize the brand/wine with the big design changes. If the background is black, the writing and design should be in gold. If the background is cream, the writing should be in black but the design should be in gold.
What to avoid
I want gold embossing. The background can either be black or cream colored.
Package dimensions
Current label is 3.75" height x 3.5" width. It might look better if it's a bit taller but the design will have to fit accordingly.
