Slotto could be the next Lego. Google it!

I manufacture a new construction toy called Slotto. Target audience is generally grandparents and parents/relatives of kids 6 years old and up. Planning wholesale only worldwide.

I have a die-cut tuck flap box I would like to print on directly. The design is for all sides of the box.  This is being introduced at the New York Toy Fair on February 16th. The new 854 piece Slotto Architectural Set will be marketed primarily to young boys in the 6 to 12 year old range and I have a vision of a building set to emulate "Dad, the Contractor" or "Dad, the builder."  The instructions are going to be printed like a blueprint.  I envision a scene with the house this kit will build, sitting on a new lot with minimal new landscaping, while "Bob the builder and Amy the architect are going over the blueprints laid out on the hood of Bob's pick up truck!  I'm picturing a "technical" drawing with an accurately portrayed drawing of the the house. The house this kit makes is a perfect to scale dollhouse when completed but I don't want to make this a dollhouse kit. It's a modular building set that happens to make this scale model home. There are aftermarket scale items available all over for this scale.  On the back I'd like to picture the different pieces and how many of each are in this kit, primarily to show how modular this set is. I'm competing with Lego in a sense, but this kit is big and it's heavy.  The box dimensions are 23" x 15" x 4.5" and the whole set weighs over forty pounds!   It will probably retail in the $229 to $299 range.

I will be uploading photos tonight that show the house with kids playing with it. It's possible I may use the photos with the right design. The photographer is making them ready for artwork as we speak. I also want to stress this set is Made in America, with American made green materials, and American labor! I have a lot of material available on my website and Googling Slotto will turn up lots of news items about me and Slotto that have accumulated since I started it in my garage a few years ago. Slotto has already been approved for placement in Walmart by a high level executive pending production costs and pricing. Currently I have seen nothing on the market catering to boys who want to be like their dad, "Bob the Builder, or Bob the Contractor." As the "Architectural Set," I want "Amy the Architect," in the drawing to not go unnoticed! The architect designs the building, the builder or contractor builds it. This is designed to foster creativity and not focused on just following directions. The fact that it builds a very cool dollhouse will appeal to girls, but I don't want to turn off the boys. It's a fine line. Maybe if Amy the Architect is hot looking and looks like she is the one who designed the house but she's real pleased with the way Bob built it. I want it to look like a very happy and proud "team," that got this built.     I'm also open to consider an entirely different approach.  I designed Slotto and I'm proud of it.  I'm sure you designers out there have ideas worthy of consideration.  I just outlined my idea above to give you my thoughts.  I'm willing to consider all approaches.  Have fun!
