The Reef Institute: A Full Circle Approach to Coral Conservation- The target audience for this sticker is those who want to support our work with baby corals. Putting baby corals back in the ocean is one way to help the Reef Recover. Who We Are The Reef Institute (TRI) is a nonprofit organization based in Palm Beach County, Florida, passionately dedicated to coral conservation through education, research, and restoration. Founded in 2016 and reimagined in 2018 in response to the growing coral crisis, TRI has become one of the most respected and innovative leaders in coral reef protection in Florida and the Caribbean. We are the only coral conservation organization of our kind in Palm Beach County, and one of only a few in the entire state that work across the full lifecycle of coral restoration — from rescue to reef. What We Do At TRI, we believe in a "Rescue to Reef" model — a comprehensive approach that closes the loop between coral emergencies and reef recovery. This includes: Biobanking endangered and at-risk corals from bleaching and disease zones, safeguarding their genetics for the future. Indoor spawning and fertilization, creating coral babies in lab-controlled environments to protect early life stages. Juvenile coral rearing and settlement — nurturing young corals in our land-based systems for healthy development. Outplanting corals back into the wild, including at 50-foot depths in Florida — a first in the state. Monitoring natural reefs, especially those showing signs of resilience (like Peanut Island), and learning from their success. Empowering communities through marine science education, outreach, and hands-on conservation training. Caribbean collaboration, helping island nations build scalable land-based coral systems and empowering local leadership. Why We Matter 🌍 Coral Reefs Are in Crisis Up to 90% of Caribbean reefs are degrading. Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease and mass bleaching events are destroying Florida’s native reef systems. Coral loss threatens marine biodiversity, coastal protection, tourism, fisheries, and even future medicine. 🧬 We Are a Living Biobank TRI houses over 8,000 corals, including 24 reef-building species, and is a long-term holding facility in the Florida Coral Rescue and Propagation Project (FCRPP). We protect genetics of the four most threatened coral species in Florida, ensuring they don’t vanish forever. 🔬 We Make Research Scalable Our labs — including an innovative spawning facility inside a shipping container — are proving that land-based restoration can be effective, repeatable, and affordable. We’ve settled six coral species in-house and are developing methods to scale globally. 📚 We Build Ocean Stewards With over 15,000 people impacted through field trips, internships, classroom teaching, virtual education, and public outreach, we are nurturing the next generation of marine scientists and conservationists. Our programs span from young children to adults, including community leaders in the Caribbean. 🌎 We Lead Beyond Borders TRI partners with governments, schools, resorts, NGOs, and research teams across the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Turks & Caicos, helping them build, scale, and sustain local coral labs and reef systems. I would like a sticker that is 3 or 4 inches. It can be any shape and even a "cut out." It should be primarily coral from across the Caribbean, focusing on brain, maze, great star and branding corals. . It is ok to be a "reef scene," but the primary focus is on the coral. We would like it to say "Baby Coral, Big Comeback," "Baby Coral Big Dreams," or "Rebuilding Reefs, Restoring Hope" as a phrase and "The Reef Institute" as our organization. The color scheme can be anything but I would prefer soft colors of various blues and fish local to the Caribbean. Anything that looks great on a sticker. You will see we have one that is very muted in colors and does not make for as fun of a design. I will attach a few files of stickers we have had in the past and some of the fish and coral local to our area. We want a unique sticker to what we have had. One thing we do here at the Reef Institute is raise "baby" corals for reef recovery. They are born on grow up for 2 years on land and then are put out in the ocean. We want the sticker to reflect the hope this brings to local people and the world. Please NO hands holding coral or the world, and also if you use people please use diversity.

We are open to any design, even vintage-looking stickers. It should be eye-catching and able to be used in a variety of ways.
