Diversified Technology is a software development company. The software we develop is sold to municipal governments -- cities, towns, boroughs, villages, townships, etc. -- in the United States. Individual decision makers are typically a top elected official like a mayor or an appointed municipal manager. Department heads are key influencers. Products fall into two broad groups. The Citizen Action Center (CAC) is a web-based municipal platform -- a place were citizens can come to do a variety of business with their municipality, like a digital City Hall. It is comprised of multiple modules which allow a citizen to pay a bill; communicate with staff members regarding an issue; find, complete and submit any form like a permit application or employment application; reserve and rent a facility like a picnic pavilion; register their household or business. Digitizing all these transactions has the added benefit of streamlining operations inside the municipal office. The Diversified Billing group of products is used by municipal staffers to bill and collect for utility services and manage field techs through work orders. Citizens are not directly involved except to receive and pay a bill and receive field service if required.

Please design an approximate 20-foot-wide by 8-foot-high trade show booth backdrop. Diversified Technology is a software company. The image presented should be high tech. Design should be consistent with the Corporate Brochure attached. An infographic should be the dominant component of the booth backdrop. The attached PowerPoint includes content that should be used in the infographic. If a cut needs to be made, Fund Accounting can be eliminated. In the first slide, the center column (with Citizen Action Center and Diversified Billing logos) represents each of the modules in our product line. The left-hand column represents direct benefits to citizens when municipalities use our software product. The column to the right of center represents the areas of government which each module impacts and benefits. The far-left column represents the municipal departments which benefit from using each module. The challenge is to design an infographic that shows the relationship and interaction between Diversified Technology’s software products used by municipalities and the benefits derived by citizens and the municipal staff. One concept might play off the word “platform” in the headline and represent product modules as “planks” in that platform. Citizens might be above or on one side of the planks while municipal staffers control the modules from below or the other side. Please don’t be limited by this. If you have a better concept, use it. The second PowerPoint slide is a very rough idea of how the backdrop might be organized. Key point here is booth must accommodate a 6’ x 2’ table and two chairs without blocking key content from folks walking in the aisle.
