We are a small literary publisher focused solely on books of poetry in English translation.

Please note: this design is for the cover of a contemporary literary work. We're having issues with people who see the title and assume the tenor of the content from that, and seem to disregard the models. Out of respect for your time, we ask that you please review the provided models to understand the general aesthetic we're seeking for the book cover. We would like to establish an ongoing relationship with the designer for future work. Thanks very much, and we look forward to working with you. We are seeking a cover designer for a collection of poetry translated from the Modern Greek. The designer would ideally be someone who is able read to devise an artistic vision for the cover based on a reading and interpretation of the text. Normally we like to see several comps for the first round, after which we are often able to quickly narrow to a single design and provide prompt feedback. The book's dimensions are 5.5"x8.25", and we would need a front and back cover + spine (spine dimensions will be provided).
